I am a fully qualified and accredited British Horse Society Senior Coach (BHSII) and currently am the only Accredited Advanced Centre10 Coach based in Cornwall.

I am DBS Checked, Safe guard trained and hold a current First Aid Certificate.
I have over 25 years worth of experience coaching riders of all ages and levels. I just love what I do.

My passion is to help if you are struggling to get motivated, stuck in a rut with your training or just simply confused or wanting to improve your performance.

I am an energetic coach and really enjoy boosting riders in their training and helping them along their journey to have a plan and a process to reach personal goals.
I encourage all my riders to have a more thinking approach towards what they are doing whilst riding and why. How is it effecting the horse physically and mentally.
Building riders confidence and horse confidence.

As well as training in the saddle I also offer out of the saddle training either face to face or remotely on ZOOM. These sessions are open to 8+ years and will compliment any ridden sessions. Unmounted sessions can be used for clarification towards training goals, breaking down goals into achievable steps, coping with competition pressures or just dealing with nerves and stress whilst riding or lost confidence.

I have a library of Power Points tailored towards Pony Club and training, badges and certificates. Clubs are welcome to book theses sessions to be delivered remotely or at face to face rallies.
I can offer BHS Challenge Awards and Exam training.

I hold regular training sessions at local arenas. Both group, private and social sessions.

I happily will work with:
Children, Youths & Adults
Competitive riders & Pleasure riders
Pony Club, Riding Club, BD & BE
Grassroots onwards

Block bookings with discounts are available.

If you train with me I invest in you. Riding is effected by many things around us and how we feel on a daily basis in our personal life. Training a rider is not just about the moment in front of me as I’m coaching. There are many factors that that a coach has to consider within each individual.

I believe strong foundations are the key to success and training in a positive environment.

What can I say, Senara is amazing! She is great at putting you at easy, she gets to know your horse and can adapt any session to suit. I have had sessions with Senara on 3 different horses, all very different and she has the knowledge and understanding to help me get the best from them all. Highly recommend for adults and children.

A friendly, encouraging and knowledgeable trainer who takes pride in her work.
Senara knows how to push you outside of your comfort zone without making you feel unsafe.
I really enjoy my lessons and it’s been a total game changer for my horse and myself in the dressage arena!

Senara has taught my children since her return from NZ.
What can I say about her…. her coaching style is amazing she is able to adapt her style and presentation depending on the age and ability of each individual. Senara has a whole approach to coaching that includes the psychological as well as the physical skills required to become a competent rider.
My eldest daughter has progressed from being unable to compete at 50cm unaffiliated jumping to having joined BS and having completed her first 90cm one day event last year she represented her RC at the national BRC arena eventing championships!
I honestly can’t recommend Senara enough.

Met Senara through pony club when she was teaching my 6yo daughter. She was absolutely fantastic with Skye making things very easy for her to understand and brilliant for Skye’s confidence. I was so impressed I started having lessons myself with Senara and saw such a difference in not only my riding but my mentality about riding aswel. Very highly recommended for kids and adults from me!!!
